We have noticed overnight that ServiceNSW has changed the testing period for the COVID Business Grant:
From – 26 June 2021 to 26 July 2021
To – 26 June 2021 to 17 July 2021
You now have to have experienced a decline in turnover of 30% or more due to the Public Health Orders over a minimum 2-week period from 26 June 2021 to 17 July 2021 compared to the same period in 2019.
All other conditions remain the same.
We would anticipate this is due to specific funding to be released pending the construction shutdown, but this is speculation only.
A very challenging change for business, and with no advice issued by the NSW Government regarding this.
