Handy Tips for JK 2.0

Updated: Sep 30, 2020

What you need to do in order to access JK 2.0.

  • If you have outstanding BASs for Sep 19 & Dec 19, lodge them ASAP

  • You must prove your eligibility to the ATO by 31 October 2020

  • You must have made your JK minimum wage payment for FN14 + FN15 by 31.10.20

  • You don’t need to re-enrol if you’re already enrolled, but you do need to re-test revenue

  • If you are already claiming for employees, you don’t need to re-test their eligibility

  • Eligible Business Participants & Sole Traders that are already receiving JK 1.0 need to retest and also declare their hours worked during February 2020 (>80 or <80)

  • You may have qualified for JK 1.0 to 28 September, then not qualify based on September 2020 versus September 2019 test, but then qualify later on December 2020 versus December 2019

  • The 80 hours test includes actual hours worked, plus any hours in paid leave (annual, LSL, sick, public holiday, carers leave)
